Silent Expedition is her latest initiative towards creating awareness amongst the general public on the issues faced by the ‘hard of hearing community’ and to enhance their confidence levels.
Along with my colleague, Mr Daniel Sundaram, I took up the ‘Bangalore to Leh’ motor cycle expedition on newly acquired 350 CC Royal Enfield covering several states – Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan,
Punjab, J&K, Kargil, Leh, J&K Chandigarh, Delhi, Mandhya Pradesh Andhra Pradesh. I have been travelled over 8400 KMs over a 30 day period starting on 29th April. As part of this expedition, I reached the highest motorable point – Khardung la Pass (18380 ft. above sea level and nearest point to both China & Pakistan borders). This expedition is co-sponsored by AGV INDIA, Riders of Bangalore (ROB) , Bikerni, Bangalore bulls and many of her friends.
I have been travelled South India Coast side road trip Tamil Naidu and Kerala in 2600Km in 10 days.
Throughout this expedition, I met scores of people, in particular people from ‘deaf & mute community’ and during interactions with them I spread the message “If I can do it, everyone can do it”.
